There is an insanity in how the southerners present the world to Somalia state of affairs; their delusional perspective is laughably and counter productive.
They knowingly adapted a blueprint of transferring responsibility away from themselves and blaming the people region of Puntland. Their scapegoat is based on what can we gain monetarily for no cost. They are always looking what they are not entitled to and the people of Puntland are the only barrier that’s standing in the way of getting what they want. That’s reason they are focusing so hard of discrediting the state Puntland.
For the last twenty five years these people devoted a lot of time and effort of controlling the message and framing the debate, but despite all of their effort and the strong operation they have, still we managed to offset their misinformation and lies. And we make sure that the truth is out.
People the state of Puntland isn't seeking unfair advantages, we just want a fair distribution for everyone. Unlike them, furthermore let’s delve into his erroneous description of Puntland. Puntland has longest coastline and land in Somalia that itself along makes them the richest region in Somalia, It also has the largest and the most diverse population in Somalia.
And the throughout creation Puntland it has saved over millions of Somali lives, who are now live in every corner of the world, And still maintained the largest population inside in Somalia, After the collapse of central government which created citizens fleeing their property and livelihood and they made its way into Puntland state .
The state was underdeveloped and didn't have capacity to care for all influx people, piracy born out of despair, and it wasn't only contained to Puntland but all the way to Galgaduud piracy was flourishing, this man selected only spotlighted Puntland and completely left out where still piracy is taking place in Somalia and it’s the number one source of income for those people the partial state of Gulmudug. For the meantime Puntland has eradicated piracy from their territory and wasn't easy undertaking for Puntland, but they did it with limited funds that was available for them. Puntland gets zero assistant from corrupt federal government. Forget about helping out this region.
The Federal Goverment every chance they got. They spend on undermining Puntland, What all the agreements are all about? Basically the federal government doing its job, First putting process that would enable them to maintain law and order properly repatriating citizens, evicting the looter and not the real owners etc. That’s what this individual is complaining about. In nutshell the existing state of affairs in Mogadishu and surrounding state its fine with him. Not only that he unfairly trashed the former UN Special Representative for Somalia Augustine Mahiga for doing his job and there no evidence that he did anything wrong.
On the contrary the wheel of progress was moving faster than Nick Kay time. As you all can read this man's article, he’s trying to butter up Mr. Nicholas Kay. It’s a classic behaviour with them, they will seek out every advantage they can get, and they could care less about the negative effects on our country.
These people want to be baby sit for life; they have troubles the concept of being responsible for yourself and your fellow countrymen. They don’t understand countries are build by its own citizens and accountability is the foundations of good governance. Whether he likes it or not we puntlander's and honest Somalia will not get tired of holding corrupt politicians and communities their feet’s to the fire. We have lost a lot being a Somalis but didn’t withdraw our support from Somalia. That wasn't an option for us, because we have a stake in this nation.
